As we start to safely welcome members back to our Jabz studios, we’ve generated some buzz in recent weeks related to our COVID-19 response and franchise growth plans. Catch up on the latest news and developments featuring Jabz President Danielle Scott!

Club Industry

Scott recently penned an article for Club Industry about our quick pivot during the COVID-19 crisis to provide online classes after local mandates required our studio doors to close.

“There’s no precedent or rule book for how to run a fitness company during a global pandemic” says Scott. “At Jabz, we’ve found that the most effective way to operate has been to look for opportunities to innovate, change our perspective, adjust and build programs relevant to our circumstances.”

Jabz owners received a positive response from members about the virtual classes and resources launched in response to COVID-19, including our new Sunday Wellness Series.

Franchise Times

Scott also shared more about plans to expand our fitness concept further across the country in May’s online and print issue of Franchise Times.

Our franchise growth strategy ensures that Jabz grows “responsibly and not too quickly” and that the team remains selective to make sure they match the right franchisees with each market. Scott also has plans to develop additional programs for Jabz franchisees to generate revenue, such as Jabz Juniors, a workout program for children ages 8-14.
